Enhancements planned?

In general I like your app and use it a lot.

Said that I am wondering if you plan any (serious) enhancements to this app? Hoonestly the last updates were just bug fixes and no new features.
I know that you plan a sync feature, but this plans are also some monthes old. No progress here.

Maybe you consider this app as mature and finished. Maybe you have no time for further development. If so I would like to know., because there are some pieces I am waiting for.

At time beeing I don`t want to change to another app ... but ...

    Hi Mich

Thanks for getting in touch. We are planning some more features for Kinetic such as full sync with cloud, dropbox and Runkeeper. This is really quite a big task, a lot of work. We also want to extend the training plans. We will also have some ideas for more modules in the future.

Sorry we have not implemented stuff as fast as you like. I can promise you we are working on it though. We are a tiny company and we can't work on Kinetic full time, as much as we would like to. We think bug fixes are important and have to be done. We also don't want to add new features just for the sake of, its not what we are about.

We think for the price of a beer Kinetic is pretty good value. We don't charge any subscriptions. The one time fee goes pretty far, i reckon.

Whats things are you waiting for? How can we improve the app?

    I agree with Michi
I love this app, and I use it every day. But I have been waiting for a heart rate export since I have started using this app (over a year ago) and I am a bit tired of waiting. I really don't want to switch to something else, but at this rate I;m afraid I will have to. I really would not mind paying (much) more for the next version.

Hi Ursula. I don't think we ever promised heart rate data export? Its
not something people had really asked for. We will look into it
though. What format would you need it in?

there are a couple of forum posts asking about a heart rate export..

i am not set on a particular format, just something I could use to import into rubitrack.

Ok. We can look into it at least. There may be some common format that
    work for HRM data.

Like I said to Mich before we are a small company, only 2 of us work
on Kinetic. I wish we could do more! Kinetic does not exactly make us
rich contrary to what you might think. We do listen to you all so I'm
sure these things will be added in time.

    Thanks for your patience.

    thanks Stewart.
I totally understand! If this app was not as awesome as it is, I would not care and move on, but it is by far the best out there, and that is why we all anxiously await updates. thanks for all your hard work.

Any plans for a Windows Phone 7 version.
This is a great app and I would love to buy it for that platform as well.

So I've used six or so different running/cycling apps and I have to say that Kinetic is the one that most nails the iPhone "aesthetic."

Its gorgeous, well-designed interface keeps bringing me back despite the bugs and the growing feature-gap between it and others in the App Store.

Echoing the sentiment here, it's been a while since we've seen anything to suggest that you guys are still committed to the App's ongoing evolution.

I'm encouraged to find the developers talking here (didn't know about this site until today) and I'm looking forward to what comes next.

    Eagerly (and patiently) waiting.

Hi Mick, welcome. We have used tender from the start. Best place to
let us know about any bugs etc.

If you have any bugs let us know and send crash logs, screenshots etc.

Looks like you had some issue with the training plan. Can you tells
exactly what happened? We know there is a bug where the traing plan
can get a day out of sync. We are working on a fix.

What other bugs have you come across?

What features is Kinetic missing? We think it is pretty feature rich.
It's got to be one of the most configurable apps out there, no?

We have not added any new big features for a while, true, but we don't
want to just add stuff for the sake of it.

We have some update coming soon. Some minor bug fixes and also some
cloud syncing. We will also add more runkeeper syncing too.

We wish we could spend more time on Kinetic. But we simply can't
afford to work on it full time. Sorry! But that's not to say we ate
not committed to it. I think for a one time fee (and it's hardly
expensive) you get a pretty good deal.

Let us know how you think we can improve it. We do listen, always have.

To be completely honest we have not touched it since your last mail...we do have loads of plans for it - but busy currently. It kinda gets sidelined for work that actually makes us money, unfortunately. Its what I'd like to be working on most!

Current project has another ~2 months to go...
