I use Kinetic almost exclusively for cycling. My iPhone rides in a case attached to the handlebars. I don't wear headphones (gotta hear that traffic!).

I sort of have the Kinetic notification system figured out. It can either make a sound or announce times and splits based on elapsed time or distance. How this integrates with the iOS notification system is a mystery to me (I can never figure out what Apple is trying to do with that feature).

Here's my question: is there a way, or a planned feature, that Kinetic would provide a visual notification while running in a locked state? So if a cyclist is riding 20 miles, and the iPhone screen goes to sleep after five minutes (like mine does), every mile or whatever interval is selected, a pop-up notification would appear providing times, speeds, averages, etc.

That, would be very cool.
