Are you intending to support HealthKit - or rather the Apple Health app.

I haven't checked into the API's so not certain this is relevant.

Also I would really like to export and back-up my walks so that if something happened to the phone or my apple back-up barfs I don't lose my history.

Thanks, Steve

    Bump!

To clarify, I am only interested in exporting the dates and distances of my walks and the totals - I do not want to keep the GPS data (although that would be a bonus), essentially I want the information that I scroll through on the summary screen for an activity.

I am moving to a new phone soon and I would rather not restore a back-up onto the new device as experience tells me that can cause problems. I usually start with a new set-up, re-install apps and use icloud to sync in everything I need.

    Hi,

You can move your kinetic data with itunes file sharing, if you dont want to restore from backup.

We are looking at Health Kit for a future version.

    Best
